As a consequence of the 811 gate on Saturday, the excellent Yeltz Ale was literally drank dry, meaning I was unable to have a couple of post match pints.
Unacceptable...

Admittedly it was under the Wendy House regime, but extra catering still struggled to cope for the FC United game. If it really is a Tranmere Rovers type of crowd, bring your thermos flask, I can't see how the cramped pathways around the ground will cope with the movement and queueing to get hot/cold/harder stuff before 2nd half kickoff.
But it's still a great problem to have!

At least we know it’ll be a sell-out and have the numbers firmed up. I think the 800 on the weekend surprised a lot of people but I would imagine that’ll be the minimum to expect for any game between now and the end of the season.
I sympathise with the volunteers at the club who need to prepare for this one- so many things to consider and put in place at short notice- but a very nice problem to have!
This isn’t just great for the club though- think of the local pubs, the sponsors (Mapei front on various papers last week), the suppliers (Fixed Wheel, Prospect, Tulleys, etc etc). In fact the whole town is bouncing- everyone is looking forward to this one.

The bar staff were just thinking of your liver AD.
Do not fear the club are putting extra things in place for the 21st March.
However, all outlets and stewards will be given a picture of AD and asked not to serve you.

The Eddy will be opening from 11, and there's plans to open up the side room to accommodate extra folks. Great to see local businesses benefit from our success.
Stock up on the bostin balti pies from the butchers, please!

Will the club really want to lose out on that kind of money from my wallet?

Agree completely...but if you want to see cramped have a look at Concord’s ground on Google

our pathways are wider than their entire standing areas

You will need that for all the goals I give to Robbie Bunn before the end of the season !!
