Weather update

I know it's drier today and apart from showers tomorrow it shouldn't be too wet, but will the pitch be playable tomorrow?

The match on Saturday was called off before it got really wet, but I don't know how it is shaping up.

I noticed Stourbr*dge played on Saturday, although I am guessing that as they had a local derby in effect, it was easier to delay a prospective postponement until later on.

Was thinking this myself. Weather is showing potential rain from 12pm onwards tomorrow so hopefully nothing too heavy! Losing count of how many postponed games we’ve had these last few months but going to continue to be a massive pile up of games at this rate!

Yaxley is a good 2+ hours via the A14 / M6 so presumably we'll get an early decision tomorrow one way or the other?

Check out Glassboys TV to see what state that game left the pitch in ...

I’d imagine the away coaches will set off around 5ish so should get an announcement by then

I am hoping earlier than that; I would guesss there'll be only one coach (for the players) as their home attendances average around 150 and the players would need to set off before 5 for ko at 7.45.

Our pitch has dried out well since Sunday afternoon and today.

The weather for tomorrow is light rain showers and a moderate breeze.

We always keep a close eye on the state of the pitch, forecasts and are aware of away team planned travelling times.

I have no concerns that tomorrow night's game will be on.

See you tomorrow night.

Good news.

Yaxley are on a good run. 7 wins and 1 draw in the last 8 games. However those opponents have nearly all been in the lower half of the table and the draw was at Wantage :o

Using same thread but for a different game :o
All the rain we've had overnight and this morning must put tomorrow's game at risk :-\
Forecast for a dry afternoon though so hope it comes and maybe some sun or wind to help dry the pitch out a bit
Looking like showers again tomorrow :-X
