Last Tango in Halifax

Post by Lammie » 07 Feb 2020, 18:17

Greetings from The Shay.

We are looking forward to your visit. The weather promises to be awful. You are in form. The pitch maybe cut up following the antics of the Rugby Club and PeteWild has just been voted Manager-of the Month. All things considered, a banana skin is definitely on the cards.

As you will know, you are sharing the East Stand with us. You should have no problems. Our stewards are generally ok with the odd caveat. Most things are ignored but feet on the seat in front or a bottle of pop with the cap on are likely to result in an announcement for green team leader Thereafter, a response of biblical proportions may follow from our highly trained stewarding team.

Halifax has plenty of eating spots, including two Spoons. Away fans are welcome at the Three Pigeons with real ale and real fires. Bottom of the road from the ground, turn left and it’s about 200 yards on the right.

Safe journey.
