Gutted I can't make next week. Already got a concert booked. Anyhow, after today's results I would take a draw right now. Felt before it was a must win but with 4 games in hand just avoiding defeat will be great. I hope we don't put out a full strength team on Tuesday but I think the gaffer will go for it and let Saturday take care of itself. Thoughts?

well brummie, i for one certainly dont want to travel a 100 miles to see an understrength side at Maidenhead on Tuesday, I want us to go for it in all matches. Whilst I slightly share your concern about an ever increasing fixture list, the squad is certainly strong enough to cope with the run of the mill league matches. I , personally, after the last 10 years of watching Yeltzcrap am revelling in the success and if we dont make promotion , then I think that another season in this division woul not be too bad. After all we have had to play against some rubbish opposition on some rubbish playing surfaces over the past few seasons in so called higher divisions, and we FAILED to beat them or even looked likely to. No Andy, my only concern would be if we lost players due to failing in promotion but I suspect that the majority of them are under contract anyway , however if any bigger sides come in wishing to spend money and pay monopoly money wages, then there's nothing you can do about that.

Can't agree Ken. We have to get out of this division. We will lose players if we don't and may not keep the manager, who knows. We SHOULD be at least playing on a level with Stour, Bromsgrove, Hednesford etc. Enjoyable as the Trophy run has been, we are not probably going to win it, but we can, and must, win promotion. The owners have invested far too much to be playing at this level any longer. A couple of thousand at Bromsgrove next year, or a couple more games in the Trophy this year and 3 men and a dog at Kidlington next year, its a no brainer for me.

Don't forget Ken, we are playing at the same level now as when we were in the Banks's, with our lopsided pitch and tatty ground. Look at what we've got now, we need to be playing at a level that everybody who has made that possible deserves.

I have just watched the Youtube
https://www.corbytown.co.uk/videos/matc ... 55638.html and they are at the top of the league ?

Definitly a win on saturday . I predict 0-3 ! Oh and the referee was the best man on the pitch

missed a goal, handball and a penalty in my opinion.
