I dunno what it is with Stourbr*dge, they start brightly and then it all crumbles at the end of the season. Must be as gutting as what we've endured. I fancy Kings Lynn now.

What does he mean by in the circumstances? Has the pot run out?

I’m only guessing but it is probably a reference to the huge elephant in the room that surprisingly hasn’t been mentioned throughout all of last weeks carnage. Leading up to the play offs the Stour board would have had to have difficult discussions with the cricket club to get preference for last Wednesday and Tomorrow. But once that changed nearly all of the subsequent date changing, and the giving up of home advantage was to do with not being able to change the agreed dates with the cricket. As I said it is amazing that this has hardly been mentioned.

Fair comment. Hadnt considered the complete faff that the club has endured this week as well as the cricket side of it. Im guessing the ground is a gift to the folk of Stourbr*dge, as its completely open 24/7. Difficult to negotiate with your partners let alone the league and clubs.

King's Lynn easily beat Alvechurch 3-0, so they now go to the super play off final at Warrington to decide who is promoted to National League North.
Meanwhile, Bromsgrove had a nailbiting win over Corby 4-3 so are promoted.

That leaves us with no decent derby matches next season, and all the more reason to get back as quickly as possible.

They may go to Northern Prem South East so that would leave us with Coleshill, Bedworth and possibly Evesham as the nearest opponents. :-\
