Lowest goals total ever?

That’s just 22 goals in 34 league games so far.
I couldn’t easily find all our records over the years, but in the truly awful 2010-11 season we scored 24 in 40 games (we did let in 107 though compared to our current 52)
Surely we can score at least 2 more goals before the end of the season, but if we don’t will it be a record? Chas?
It’s also crazy that we’re still below total we got when everything was falling apart.
(I’m secretly posting this just so we score 3 against Lowestoft in midweek and it makes me look stupid
)

Even Bedworth on a measly 15 points and 2 wins have scored 4 more goals than us. It's embarrassing.

Thanks Chas! Not sure how I missed that page.
So if we ignore 1892-93(!) where we only scored 14 in 18 games, I was correct about 2010-11 being the record low. Surely we must beat that?

I always feel that statistical references to 2010-11 should have an asterisk shown because of the special circumstances.
In my mind, the real comparison for lack of goals scored is 1974-75 when we managed 30. But they were over only 30 games, so this year is far worse on a goals for games basis

I asked the old folks who have been going for decades if this current side is the worst team they've seen. The answer was no, citing the 2010 side, but noted the circumstances of that season.
Under normal circumstances of a relatively stable off the field situation, folks were saying this is the worst team they've seen. I think the folks I asked have been going over 30 years, possibly nearer 40?
Would anyone on here argue with that? It is truly embarrassing.

I suspect he probably is, but Im curious as to why he thinks the whole club is embarrassing, as opposed to a bad season for the first team.
