Guys
Being a newbie to following the Yeltz I would just like to see what team they would choose from the current squad
My team
Platt
Curley
Morris
Griffiths
Kelly
Murphy
Rea
Fitzpatrick
Hughes
Sweeney
Taylor
Possible change in midfield after debut
Weir

I wouldn't want to name an XI from the current selection of players.
Platt in goal
Kelly at left back
Then 9 other youth team players.

I think I was just being generous. Totally agree with your two, but would persevere with the other 3 and would like to sign Taylor as he can give us that something different.

P.S. If any of those choices were in the 'did not try' category yesterday I may think again. I can't abide that.

I'm not naming individual players who were in the 'did not try' category. Let's just say it's a fair few names.
I was probably being a little harsh. I think your list is nearer than mine. Taylor offers us a good attacking option. He needs to stay out wide. Whether he 'wonders off', almost like a free role, due to lack of discipline or manager instructions, I don't know. All I know is that we lack width at times. The lack of crosses we put in the box is criminal, considering the quality of Kelly and Taylor's delivery.
Sweeney is probably worth a spot, but he hasn't been as effective during this spell as he was in his last spell with us.
All in all, there's only a handful of current players in this squad, that I'd keep next season , and that's with the expectation we'll be playing at the level below. That's a very sad indictment of the quality in the squad...

I would happily rather see the youth players. The players signed are not only worse than what we’ve ever had before but also have no alliance to the club do not care whether the club stays up or goes down and quite frankly shouldn’t be wearing the shirt. Damning I know, but how I feel massive turnover of players and fail to really see anything positive. Play the youth team and let’s watch them play with passion.

The downside to that might be the 1st team put SEVEN past them the other night.

As we seem to have learned to our cost re: managerial change beware of what you wish for!

I think the majority of fans were correct to wish for new management? And let's be honest, it's not got worse has it? The new management just haven't been able to stop the slide.
