Unenviable stat

Out of the 14 divisions at Step 1 to 4 of non-league, apart from Egham Town of the Bostik League, we have scored the fewest goals, just 16. Egham have scored 14 but they've played 4 games fewer.

This includes 9 blanks for us in the last 14 league games, so it's not hard to see why we are heading for the trapdoor. I know we haven't been great at the back a lot of the time, but until we can start scoring more regularly we are in trouble. I know it's not just a forward issue as we aren't creating nearly enough.

Stating the obvious I know, but there has been no sign of the tide turning, but it needs to rather quickly.

In the 4 Southern League divisions (I can't be bothered to check all 14 mentioned!) there are 6 individual players have amassed 16 or more goals and a further 6 got 15. One bloke has 21. Where's Ben 10 now?

I think I'm right in saying Hughes is top scorer with 5, followed by Roberts with 4.

We currently have 2 joint second top scorers on our books. Coyle and Sweeney. 1 each. :-\

Ouch! Admittedly we won't concede as many as in the 2010-11 season, but at the recent rate, this season could run it close for a lack of goals.
