Whilst looking in the archives section for Lee's info I noted that Mark Penn finished in 1964 and Geoff Moss in 1972.😂
1964?? He'd only be about five!!

And a vain attempt to join in Westy and Andy’s punk / post-punk game...
Definitely punk. None of yer post-punk nonsense. One third of the Holy Trinity of Punk we're talkin' about here.
Forgive him he's only a whippersnapper.

Now I may be wrong (but after training from Yeltzdoc will never admit it) but I'm sure JH was quite pally with one of Rob or Larry and that's why Tilt didn't end up at Stour and went to Hednesford instead......
Any road. They've certainly got the experience which is all we need at the mo, and even though Telford / Hednesford v Yeltz over the years with the two of them in charge have been feisty affairs they've usually had some quality players at their disposal.
Also I know Smith played for us as mentioned but isn't here from Halesowen as well? Which must be another reason to have left Hednesford to come home :D

Interesting reading on the (other) HTFC forum- they sound a bit like we probably did last season.

Nice comments generally about the management duo and good to read a few positive remarks about the style of football. We all know there's a massive job to be done at the club this season but this appointment gives me confidence that we can really start to build from here. (Starting with signing Curley and Griffiths- ;D )

Some nice comments about this great club on that Hednesford forum. It seems our new management duo are well thought of there, which can only bode well for us. I like the comments about them being defensively well organised. That's exactly what we need right now.

Yeah, fair play to Hednesford fans. Some good, considered posts there.
I used to really like going to the Old Cross Keys and the new one, always good people. Our paths don't seem to cross in cups anymore, we seemed to play them in everything at one time. Was it a FOUR game Staffs Senior Cup tie once?

Their new ground is a great venue. More importantly, it has a cracking bar.
