I’m happy with a game in the North East, but not sure anyone else will be!

That is such a rubbish draw. (You were right, Poll)

Was really hoping for a memorable away day or the chance of a big crowd at The Grove :-\

Couldn't really be a more difficult draw at this stage. League above, couple of points off the top, just won away at Chorley in the league as well.
So, 1-0 to us it is then. ;D

Well its not an easy tie but hey I like a challenge. Think ill go to this one. Quite enjoying the drama in this competition and nice to have a bit of a run. Albeit may be short lived!

Why oh why can't the FA help themselves and ultimately the clubs by regionalising the draw more than just North/South?

Kidderminster v York
Stratford or Mickleover v South Shields
Us away at Spennymoor
Hereford v FC United.
Darlington v Telford

Off the top of my head if they regionalised a section with Yeltz, Kiddy, Nuneaton, Telford, Stratford or Mickleover, Hereford, Stamford, Barwell, Gloucester, Oxford would have meant less travel expenses, the chance of bigger crowds (Ok maybe not in Barwell's case) and hopefully a little more interest. How many Yeltz folk will travel up to Spennymoor on 24th November (30/40?) How many might have travelled to Kiddy/Telford? 150?

A similar scenario with Marske, Blyth, Spennymoor, Darlington, South Shields, York... etc

Why can't the FA show a little bit of common sense and do their best to help clubs?

As long as the Premier League are ok though and Wayne Rooney gets his big day out at Wembley eh?

The FA and common sense? More chance of me getting a valentines card off John Hill.

To be honest Rob when I was going to all the away games some moons ago, the journeys were the ones I liked best. A chance to visit places we didn't go to on regular basis. Gretna, Dover, Blyth etc, great fun. But I do see what you mean, it's a bloody long way. ;D
