Probably right. I wouldn’t argue with the mighty L3.

The scorers in my records are exactly as denoted by HH abve😉

I don’t remember much about the match but I do remember Fozzy scoring and Lewis Baker playing. Gainsborough had a good Social Club down the one side of the pitch

I seem to recall that H took over as temporary manager for the first time in the 88 tie. So who was the manager that departed and who eventually replaced him. Or is my old age playing tricks again.(Don't say a word anyone)

The only records I've got are matches I've been to and everything teams wise is down to you Chas :)

Had a look and it was Haarhoff 8th, Forsdick 38th and then a last minute Haarhoff winner

If hadn’t been for Francis Brett Young, I’d have been Buckhouse Lane Lamper 😀

Paddy Page, H for a game or 2, then John Morris.

I feel a bit silly for mentioning this, because no one else has, but didn’t we play Gainsborough in a home cup match about 2008? It may have been in the Trophy

you are quite correct Andy, I was not paying sufficient attention to your ever wise words.

In hindsight the 2008 Gainsborough game was the last hurrah of the person who cannot be named, because the wheels (already looking wobbly at that point) came off his bandwaggon with the defeat by Maidstone in the subsequent round
