I’ve seen a tweet saying that Villa are back in this competition for the first time since 1997/8.
Was that the year we won it? And didn’t we beat them on the way? (And so can we claim to be their last opponents?)

I believe it was. We beat them 7-4 after extra time if my memory serves me correctly.
