HALESOWEN TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB have completed the signing of experienced defender James Hurst.

Sutton Coldfield born Hurst, 26, has played for several league clubs including West Bromwich Albion, Birmingham City and Shrewsbury Town as we as being capped by England up to U-20 level.

James most recently played for National League side Wrexham where he made 17 appearances in the 2017-18 season.

He will bring a much needed boost to the Yeltz back line and will look to slot straight into the squad for tomorrows games against Biggleswade Town.

Sounds a promising signing!

Surely with so many players coming in now I wonder if player will have to leave to balance the book?
