Another midfielder!

Post by AwayDayYeltz » 17 Aug 2018, 21:14

HALESOWEN TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB are delighted to announce the arrival of a highly experienced new signing.

Central midfielder Kemy Agustien , 32, who has represented the Netherlands up to U-21 level and is a full international for the Curaçao national team completed his registration and International clearance for the Yeltz today.

Kemy started his playing career with Willem II and AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands before moving to Roda JC Kerkrade in total he made over 100 appearances. His move to England saw him play for Birmingham City, Swansea City, Crystal Palace and Brighton. He also had a spell in Scotland with Hamilton Academical. Kemy’s most recent club was Nuneaton Borough.

This signing is quite a coup for the Yeltz with Kemy playing at the highest level in England and in the Netherlands and are building a squad with a tremendous blend of youth and experience.

He will be available for selection in the squad that travels to Kettering Town tomorrow.

Sounds a good signing. We've got more midfielders than bloody Spain now! It's a shame we bypass the midfield in our general play, though!

Can only speculate that this is a Sneekes signing given the Dutch background of the player and also assume this is the chap we were waiting international clearance on.

Hope Kemy hits the ground running.

Reading his Wikipedia entry I don't think he's managed a year without injury in his career. Hope that's not an omen. We seem good at picking up players like that. Anyone know why he is/was at Nuneaton but hasn't played a game for them?
