I have had assurance, from Dave Hawley, that season tickets already purchased will be honoured.

Is the actual pitch owned by the Grove Trust? If so, surely they have the say as to whom they lease it to.
I'm not really sure Simons but one would like to thing so. They may also have clauses in the lease reference to sub-letting but that already goes on now, and in the past, with Black Country Rangers, WBA Ladies and Causeway. Not to mention the short lived Kabbaddi Tournament.

Not forgetting the odd agricultural show with associated ploughing competitions!
I wouldn't dismiss that as fantasy, either!

Agriculultural Show? In Halesowen? I know we see some pretty ropey tackles over the season but .....

You've been on the Silly Sider in The Edward, haven't you?? ;) ::) :D

Le cidre, moi? Holden's Golden Glow would be nearer the mark!
Halesowen may not be the agricultural epicentre of the West Midlands but, with the present incumbent still in charge, I wouldn't be surprised - along with a gypsy caravan owners convention as well.
Non PC - do I care?

This post is nothing short of offensive. I'm actually disgusted, Lutley.

Golden Glow when you have the choice of Inferno?

"Glow" is my default ale - I take an "Inferno" now and again!
Oh, and if my reference to gypsies offended your well known sensibilities then from now on I'll use " bloody travellers!"😯

One thing that's guaranteed now is the incompetent, sorry, incumbent management team are here for the start of the season.

So no more excuses of bad pitch, budgets etc, they have to work as coaches and get the best out of the players they have. Anything other than a decent return from our first 6-8 games then they have to walk or be sacked.

No more excuses.

That's the Golden Glow talking ;)

I’m afraid my attention is more focussed on the owner(s) than the management at the moment. I didn’t go to 1 match last season because of this reason and until this takeover goes through (if it does) then I’ll be staying away, even though it hurts like hell !

Hi All

I can’t say much at this moment in time and please recognise that I fully appreciate everyone’s concern.

We are continuing to work hard to get the deal over the line and we’ll let you know as soon as we have something to communicate.

We appreciate your patience and support. C’mon the Yeltz.

Kind regards, Karen
