This is NOT the confirmed format, but usually isn't far away.

Some interesting trips for those that travel next season.

We're losing some cracking away days in Buxton, Marine & Nantwich, so I'm glad we've gained King's Lynn...

So, Stafford is too far north, Stratford is too far south, but Lowestoft is just right at a couple of hundred miles. Hmmm.....

Some strange choices with some long distance travelling. It’s not as local as I expected.

Stratford is back in this projection now. If you look at the map of 88 clubs in the link below, it's not as bad as people are making out.

The Northern section virtually picks itself, and if you start moving the East Anglian clubs to the Isthmian League, you've got to replace them with some other southern based teams. We'll have far more local or easily reached away games in this new set up, and don't write off some of these places. For example, Leiston and Needham Market are situated near some great Suffolk coastline and countryside.

Banbury is the one that stands out. Should really be in the Central and perhaps Hitchin the Southern.

I'm surprised to see Banbury in the Southern on this projection- I'd imagine they'd be hankering for the Central league as 18 of the 22 clubs are within 90 mins travel time for them.

The East Anglian clubs are a dilemma. Personally I'd have thought the Isthmian would work better for them, as most of those trips would be London-way, but it's a logistical nightmare whichever way you look at it. As much as we don't want these four long trips (and they probably are about 5 hours on a coach), imagine being the other way around and trying to run a football club that has to do these distances every other week. Lowestoft are struggling financially (unsurprisingly) after a recent sojourn into the Conference North.

PS- How can anyone complain at this new league structure from a Yeltz perspective? It's 100x better for us with far more local games.

Me and Poll can complain.
