I see in tonight E&S that Chilton and Shearer have left by mutual consent. Pity also that Hill and Clarke don't follow them out the door.

Inevitable! I wish both players well - they might enjoy their football now - we certainly can't.

So many parallels between now and our last dark days. Except fan unity.

With McAtee, Udoh, Spray, Agbor and Diop still on the books surely one of the forwards was going to leave! Six into two places doesn't fit and I suspect he was now at best fifth choice of the six.
Chilton will be more of a miss, especially with the suspensions coming up but without the reasons for his departure we can only guess why it happened...

Chiltern, thats probably best player gone. Is he lining up against us today?

Chilly's a miss, but it seemed he was getting edged out, particularly as we don't have any other wingers in the squad.
Imagine this will mean we'll be playing a very narrow midfield today and so maybe Spray will get a look in? I know the squads have changed since last season but Stour always look nervy when we put high balls in the box, and so I hope we can ruffle them early.
