Over 700 at Bromsgrove tonight...

Yet we struggle to get 350 on a Saturday.

What's happening to this once great club? We're simply getting left behind in the local non league scene. So sad.

We are. This is the point I was trying to make when I started the thread.

The point is; those who need to make change, don't acknowledge it as a problem.

I guess the comparisons will be made by some that we compare favourably with many of the teams in the division. The difference to me is though we used to have the highest non league crowds round here by some margin and now we clearly don't. Also compared to a lot of the teams in the division we have a massive catchment area. On both counts its worrying.

Also, let's factor in that non-league is becoming fashionable. Especially with the downfall of local professional sides and the obscenity of professional football.

Where are the fans going? Why aren't we attracting new fans.

If we cant get a good crowd today we never will. No Premiership. No Football League. Kidderminster away. Stourbr*dge away. Local derby (allbeit Sutton - few fans). Nice weather.
Great chance to impress any neutrals!

....and talking of attendances. Hereford v Merthyr today. I suspect their police attendance may have to be higher than some crowds today. ;D

Can't wait to be potentially outnumbered at home to Stafford next Tuesday night 👀

What actually is there really to entice anybody to come? The football is non existent and the behaviour from some of the fans is absolutely dreadful. People think they've made the club better, but in what way? That behaviour we saw this afternoon didn't used to happen at the Grove.

If you add the football on to the fact that we have seen tweets from now club officials in the past saying, 'if you don't like it f... off and go somewhere else', you aren't going to increase attendances are you. People say this forum doesn't make the club look good, but remember, it's not me who is posting those tweets and behaving like the people this afternoon. If things carry on, maybe the people who posted tweets like the one I mention might get their wish. There will only be 6 or 7 people left. They might well have improved the club for themselves, but have they improved it for everybody? In almost every sense, this afternoon was one of the saddest experiences I've ever had at a football ground

1,226 attendance yesterday v Hednesford.

Makes our 372 look exactly what it was, embarrassing.

Over 500 at Rushall v Stour.

652 at Bromsgrove.

The club seriously need to address the falling attendances.
