Just a quick line to say there will be a video coming soon from an interview I carried out with John tonight. Very honest, in depth, and to the point.

Hoping it'll be available to watch tomorrow, if not it'll be first thing Monday.

Great video. Enjoyed watching it, and thought it was edited excellently. I particularly liked the fact when John referred to a past game you put clips in.

Some great questions which provided a good insight.

Yeltz TV have come on leaps and bounds since you started. Highlights and interviews are always welcome. If anything I'd love to see more interviews with the management to get an insight as to why they've made certain decisions. I guess there are constraints as to what they can and can't say, though?

In relation to some of John's comments;

The slow start and the freshening up of the squad comment is interesting. I'd have liked to have seen a question regarding pre-season, because those two comments should happen in pre season.

It seems to me over the past two seasons, especially, we've almost used the first five to ten league games as our pre season. I'm fully aware that there is most likely a good reason for it.

Firstly the standard of opposition we face during pre-season isn't the best. How are Matt and John meant to assess players against the likes of Tipton and Wolverhampton Sports (with respect)?

And secondly I'm guessing a lot of players are on trials with other teams and I suppose we have to play a waiting game. The likes of Goddard etc probably weren't available during pre-season.

Either way it'd be good to hear from the horses mouth.

Finally, it'd have been interesting to have questions that expanded on the critics section (as someone who has criticised style of play and selections), I'd have appreciated a more in depth comment on the choices of formations, and why he prefers one over the other (if he does).

As John said, there's usually a reason, but as a fan who only attends and watches the game - I'm not a mind reader.

Would urge all the forumistas to give this a watch- very honest interview from Sir John answering a lot of the questions that get swung around on here.

Top marks, Yeltz TV- more great insight from behind the scenes.

Cheers for all the comments guys, appreciate you enjoy this kind of thing.

John and I are hoping to do these on a more regular basis, every 2-4 weeks if possible depending on our own availabilities etc..

I'd also like to speak to Matt Clarke and potentially Jay Denny too.

As it was a bit last minute I tried to squeeze in a few general questions to ask on certain points throughout the season, if only we could have stayed to record for another half an hour or so! Hopefully doing them on a more regular basis will allow the questions to be match specific.

I'll also put it out publicly in advance when we next have one planned to take some of your questions and put them directly to John, he's always said when recording that he's willing to talk about any subject, same goes for the rest of the team I'd imagine.

Will hopefully have another one of these done towards the end of the month.
