We've had to renew the hosting and it should flip over tonight.

However, given that our hosts are cowboys, it might not.

So, if the site goes down for a bit, there should be no need to fling yourself under the next No 9.
We'll be back and normal gibberish will be resumed shortly.

Nostalgia - Leroy Hemans what a player, no pitch could curtail him in full flow !

Many years ago I saw Boldmere play Brigg Town in the Vase one Christmas Eve, and Leroy Hemans managed to get himself sent off in the first minute.

Just thought it was worth recalling...

What a player.

He used to wear a short sleeved shirt and still roll the sleeves up, giving him the look of an Aussie Rules player.
It was rumoured that he was to have an experimental surgery to have casters implanted into his buttocks such was the amount of time he spent skidding around on his arse.

Suffice it to say, he is remembered fondly...
