A new friendly for Saturday against Wolverhampton Sporting in the posh bit of Walsall (if you can imagine such a thing) at Great Wyrley.
As an aside, is it pronounced "Whur-lee", making my delicious pun work, or "Wire-lee", ruining it for everyone?
It's one of those words that I've only ever seen written down.

Whenever I see it written down I think of the Magic roundabout and in particular Dougal and the blue cat which I own a DVD of! The name of the cat is Buxton so whenever we are playing Buxton I always think of the fictional blue feline!

We played Bromsgrove there in a 'home' friendly about 4 years ago if I remember correctly. Looks like they have a new team formed there to play on it.

It's odd when you've only ever seen a word in print - my wife spoke of a mishap, describing it as having gone, "Or-ree".
I still mention it, before ducking to avoid her response.

why would you need to duck? Surely when you mention it she just gives a wry smile!
