Working Party

Can't believe how much work needs doing at The Grove before the start of the new season. Rob took Josh and myself round this morning and although things are improving and a lot of work has been done already there is still a mountain to climb.
We had a good productive morning getting down the old netting and wooden frame work behind the Harry Rudge stand. The rain held off which helped. Also on today's agenda was removing the goal posts which had been firmly wedged in last season. They put up a good fight but prevailed in the end.
Standing in the Shed on a Saturday afternoon you don't realise what goes on behind the scenes and how much work has been done and still needs doing. It's definitely a case of many hands., etc and the more people that turn up on a Saturday morning to help the better the chance is of getting it all done.
Thanks to Rob and the FOTGSA for the sausage sarnies and Em for the endless supply of tea and coffee
