Re: Club launch replica kits for 16/17 campaign
Really, really disappointing.
I have bought a shirt (most seasons two including the away, and three or four since my kids arrived) every season since 1991-92 except the years of the Gingrams and I can't see me buying them at all this season as no one has seemingly bothered to address the fact that their were quite a few who weren't at all happy with the new badge.
I follow Twitter and Facebook and get the impression that the odd young face saying 'great new badge innit' seems to have being the thumbs up to go ahead with the badge on the new shirt. Oh and don't try and convince me about the social media impact needing to sell things by changing it. I work in quite a lot of this area ya know........... I thought we were Halesowen Town FC not Manure et al.........
Yes there are much more important things to worry about at the football club, but this hasn't been handled well in my very humble and not at all important opinion...........

It's clear no one from the club is listening, cares or is prepared to speak on the issue of the crap badge. The new club structure is clearly not Set up to take supporters opinions into account or providing any supporter representation.

Apart from the total disregard for heritage or supporter opinion, What really gets me about this is if the 'Club' or whoever it was that took this decision wanted a new Club logo, they may as well have gone for a totally different design because that poor excuse for a design depicting the generic church wearing a paper hat has absolutely no connection with the Town. The supporters of this Club fought a bitter 3 year war to protect its identity unfortunately people have arrived that think it does not matter.

What ever your thoughts on the badge - the general consensus of the church design I understand - but comments suggesting people don't care about our history, couldn't be further from the truth.ZeeZee wrote:Apart from the total disregard for heritage or supporter opinion, What really gets me about this is if the 'Club' or whoever it was that took this decision wanted a new Club logo, they may as well have gone for a totally different design because that poor excuse for a design depicting the generic church wearing a paper hat has absolutely no connection with the Town. There are people who, yes are new to the club, but care a great deal about OUR club and are doing great work, hard work, in their own time to help improve the club.
If you or anyone else feels they're not doing a good job or things should be done differently then I urge you or anyone else to get involved and make a difference.
The only way to make change is being proactive.

There's an idea I never thought of Raiden, get involved, none of us have done that before.RaidenYeltz wrote:What ever your thoughts on the badge - the general consensus of the church design I understand - but comments suggesting people don't care about our history, couldn't be further from the truth.ZeeZee wrote:Apart from the total disregard for heritage or supporter opinion, What really gets me about this is if the 'Club' or whoever it was that took this decision wanted a new Club logo, they may as well have gone for a totally different design because that poor excuse for a design depicting the generic church wearing a paper hat has absolutely no connection with the Town.
