I'm very much undecided. Always liked the crest we had, hopefully the new crest will grow on me. I do like the fact it’s got 1873 on though proudly showing the year that we were formed.

I wonder why "Football Club" or "F.C." no longer appear on the new crest (and whether this is good, bad or of no importance at all)?

Why? That's not our crest. What's wrong with the old one? Just seems like change for changes sake. Its crap. Very unhappy.

I'm with Zee and Chas on this one.
Did the kids at Lutley PS have a hand in designing it??

That was a real 'one off' type of crest we had. This is just a mundane 'one size fits all' kind of thing. I can sense a backlash over this. I've still got my ladder.....

Re: Club Crest Updated
I heard of a possible change last week, at first I was against it. I knew the church would be simplified for commercial reasons and I fully expected it to look cheap and tacky.
But I love it. The design is very modern and crisp. Can't wait to see it on our new kit.
People don't like change, generally. People will always moan with change.
But with the new, seemingly professionally set up at board level, a new iPhone app, and now a modern looking, yet keeping with tradition, badge it feels like I'm supporting a semi pro club as opposed to feeling like I support a Sunday league side, as, if I'm honest over the past few months it felt like that.
Well done all involved, I hope forward thinking changes continue to happen.
