Evening All,
I thought I would pop on here to say hello and give you a short bit of information about me really.
I run a couple of clubs, one a football club with function room another a former church club.
The football club hasnt got a team, it had folded prior to me taking over, we rent the pitch out mainly for finals for Cannock Chase League, WJYL and Staffs FA.
We mainly do weddings birthdays christenings in the two clubs.
Up till March this year to be honest i hadnt any knowledge about Halesowen Town, the history good or bad but by chance I saw an article
about no funding for the manager so I rang up to see if it was for sale. I have been down to a few games spoke with Sean on my visits had a few drinks in the yeltz bar so I could get a feel for the place. I found the people I spoke to very friendly and all spoke with great passion about the club.
Speaking to Sean also he has a great feel for the place and wants to get it back to its former glory.
I wont promise to come in with a magic wand and all is going to be rosie again its going to take time and effort to rebuild trust in the community, the team and the ground.
Ive not bought the place under the illusion that its going to make me money,  but equally it will in time become self funding again.
As soon as the deal was finally done I contacted Gary from the Yeltz trust out of courtesy so he could pass on the news to the members if there was another supporters club I would of gladly contacted them also but this is the only one I know about.
(If there are any another supporters groups please let me know and I will gladly meet them also.)
Im not sure what else to put really Im not very good at all this typing!
All the best

Steve Lynch

Thanks for coming on and introducing yourself Steve.

Feel free to post on here with whatever info you feel is relevent to the supporters - you should get a good response, contrary to what you may have heard we're a friendly bunch online too... ;)

Cheers,

Doc.

Does this mean the website will no longer carry regular broadcasts from the Ingies?

Any chance of making the font a big bigger!

Welcome Steve.
Congratulations and all the best for the future.
I think now is the time to draw a line under the last 3.5 years and start with a blank canvas.
I hope the Community/Yeltz Trust/Local Businesses and Previous Sponsors all pull together to
help you put HTFC back on the map.
Yours in Sport.
Nigel Pitt.
