Did everyone bar me notice the results in Tuesdays Div 1 north matches? Must be unprecidented surely. Warrington win 0-9, Spennymoor win 9-0 and Kendal and Prescot Cables drew 5-5, with 9 goals in 36 minutes.

I noted them Andy, but as we are so used to seeing endless goals at the Grove, I did n't really think it was worthy of mention.

Actually I've seen us score 8 a couple of times (Alvechurch at home and Gravesend away) but never a 9. Tuesday maybe?

Didn't we beat Meir KA 8-2 (in the FA Cup I think)? After drawing at their place?
Think that's the best I can remember.

Saw us score 9 at home to Darlaston in 60s after we also scored 9 in same season at their place.
Our record 13-1 against Coventry Amateurs was seen by at least 1 person who still occasionally come to The Grove.
I expect you've also lit the blue touch paper for someone to come on here raving about scoring 8 away at Ledbury

You're absolutely right, 8-1 though, I'd forgotten that one. Make it 3 then.

9 home AND away, they must have been sick of the sight of us.
And 8 at Ledbury, who would possibly have an interest in that? Did someone score a few?

I wasn't around but I assume you're talking about the much missed and celebrated Geoff Moss?
