The Integro League Cup 2nd Round

Busy again as you can see below......

Not the draw (yet!) but here's the list of 2nd Round(ers) who we could come up against.
Considering we made a 'loss' last night with only 132 in attendance I'd imagine a localish away tie is better as far as the club is concerned (this after learning that you have to pay the away team for a share of their travel or something like that plus referee expenses etc!!!). Still we're in a cup and it's the only one we can win so we might as well try and win it (as we now get drawn at Spennymoor or Darlington.............). I've put the more local(ish) ones (upto about 75 miles) in bold with the mileage in italics:-

Bamber Bridge 107 / Lancaster City 136
Barwell 50
Buxton 74
Carlton Town 68
Clitheroe 124 / Prescot Cables 97
Darlington 1883 195
Daventry Town 57
Farsley Celtic 138
Frickley Athletic 117
Hyde United 95 / Colwyn Bay 135
Ilkeston 70
Kidsgrove Athletic 55
Lincoln United 101
Marine 107
Market Drayton Town 51
Matlock Town 75
Nantwich Town 63
Northwich Victoria 73
Ossett Albion 124
Ossett Town 124
Radcliffe Borough 102
Ramsbottom United 110 / Warrington Town 81
Scarborough Athletic 168
Spennymoor Town 199
Stafford Rangers 36
Stamford 92
Stocksbridge Park Steels 112
Sutton Coldfield Town 21
Trafford 87
Witton Albion 73
Workington 216

I need to get out more...........

You have more time than me! :-)

Good stats.

Do we know when the draw is?

No idea when the draw is, but I'd bet on it being this Friday as they're so well organised.

It's a shame 'they who shall not be named' lost to Market Drayton as I'm sure that wouldn't have been a 'money loss' game wherever it might have been at.

Neither can I. But I can see them in the FA Cup & Trophy lists. Competitions that offer good prize money...

;) ;)

I'm pretty sure we can't draw teams like Workington and Spennymoor as I am fairly certain the draw is regionalised, so the ones Halesowenharry has marked in bold are the ones we could draw or maybe Stamford as they are bit out on a limb.

I'm pretty sure the draw will be made tomorrow morning although I have no idea and expect we will probably be drawn against Sutton although it might be nice to be drawn away to Daventry as that is somewhere I have certainly never been.

Correct, tweet from the NPL secretary replying to a Darlo fan asking when the cup draw was going to be made, 'If logistics allow, tomorrow.'

Myself and Stokes were talking about our last game against Sutton in the League Cup Back in 2008.

Nick Bussey got sent off and Jack Allward stepped in. Saved a few and scored the final penalty.
