Pump up the volume?

Unless my 'lug oles' are playing up, despite it being several months since DJ stood down, the new announcer has still not fixed the volume, so we cant hear him. It didn't matter as much before as we knew all the players, but on Saturday it did. I only found out who I was watching on Sunday - before then it was just 'good number 3' and those two up front make us seem a bit bigger and more physical, which might be useful in this league'.
Surely someone can fix the volume? As mentioned elsewhere, not a classic on Saturday but good to be back at the Grove and in competitive league action.

I also noticed the issue with the volume but was unsure whether to bring it to people's attention so I'm glad somebody has no criticism at all of what is actually being said and the job being done it would just be nice to hear it a bit clearer if possible.

Didn't realise we had an announcer. I stand behind the away dugout and never heard anything

It occurs to me I take it somebody will let the announcer knows that this has been raised if he's not on the forum and so doesn't see this thread so he can make the adjustments or whatever is needed.

Usually when the announcer is stretching his vocal chords, you're lubricating yours.

Paul who operates the PA. Said it was on maximum. He apologizes and will do a test between now and the next home game.

I have been in today and adjusted it all even had the police round as someone in Hasbury heard it as it was so loud so all working fine.

Thanks I should be at the next home match too so we can notice the difference. Good when the forum works like this. If it's not too extreme, I might still wash my 'lug oles' before the match just in case!
