Hey Yeltz. Stourbr*dge have annoyed a lot of supporters by switching their midweek games to Mondays without discussion and a lot have already brought their season tickets. Yeltz will now have it all their own way on Tuesdays and a lot of neutrals will undoubtedly come to the Grove. Go for it Yeltz.

I'm not surprised this has caused uproar. Was there a reason for their sudden change to Mondays?

Good point. Maybe have a low ticket price to try and entice any neutrals for Tuesday night games.
I know there's an argument that dropping individual match prices would annoy some season ticket holders.
Personally it doesn't fuss me. I want to see as many people down the Grove supporting the Yeltz as possible. If that means my season ticket doesn't possess as much value as it does at normal prices - so be it.
Saying that, it's hard to attract many fans on night games in the middle of winter. When it's bitter cold and there's football on telly. In the comfort of a warm and cosy living room.
It's a tough one!

If we can get the neutrals down while the weather is still mild, maybe they'll get hooked, it happened to me!

So tonight Stourbr*dge kick off their Monday nights.
It may attract a few more to the game maybe but is it good for the players?
They traveled to Whitby on Saturday, I would imagine they left about 8am. They arrived for kick off at 2.45 and would have got home closer to midnight.
They are now playing less than 48 hours later against a team high on motivation after a nine goal thriller who played at home Saturday.

I'd say Hackett has two games to save his job. Nantwich and Workington at home. Both tricky opponents.

You forget he is in the board of the club. Plus they are in a different league to two seasons ago!

I don't see how it's any better than a Tuesday night, in terms of attracting fans.
I do wonder whether they're looking to gain an advantage fitness wise.
The more the season progresses the more likely Stour will get used to the fitness required to play Monday and Saturday.
They'll also have a day's added rest when they play on Saturdays.

Sounds like a half decent game.

Kiddy always used to play home games on a monday and they still got good crowds.
