Half Season Ticket

Post by HurstGreenHTFC » 06 Jul 2015, 21:20

Following some interest in making a half season ticket available, we have added this as an option to purchase. This will only be available for a very limited period, up to Wednesday 15th July.

The cost will be £80 for 12 matches which is in line with the original, full season ticket offer of £150 for 23 matches.

To register your intent to purchase one, please email me chrislambert@ht-fc.com with the following details :

Name
Address
Date of Birth
Phone no.
Preferred method of payment (PayPal / Cash)

Thanks.

Is there no way the offer could not be extended until the fixtures are released at all? Or till the end of the month to help folk after payday.

Also, would the games cover any 12 league games or would it be the first 12 or last 12 games sort of thing?

Dale- half of the Vile's fixtures will be moved around as the season continues, so I wouldn't try to be too mathematical. Basically, if you're going to make it to eight games then it's paid back. Any more than that, and it's a good deal. I'm pretty sure the 12 games are flexible, otherwise it defeats the object.

I'd imagine the gingers are joining you with this one too, seeing as they also asked for one last week?

Great deal, glad the club has listened to a few fans :)

Would agree with Dale above, offering a very small window of which to take this offer seems very odd?

Fair point in that respect I suppose, but I think it would still be nice to potentially pick your 12 games so you are definitely guaranteed to get your money's worth.

Last season, I did manage to just about make 12 league games however next season I may not.

Also, from a personal viewpoint this month is quite financially tight for me due to other outgoings and holidays, so whilst £80 isn't overly damaging, it would still be nice to have a little bit more time to think about making a decision.

Just my opinion though....

Surely it would pay you to buy a full season ticket for us. You can get your v***a tickets out of a cornflake box, surely?

;D

I'm sure there might be a few other people in the same boat as me. Maybe not with Villa, but with Albion, Wolves etc. There's a couple of other circumstances for me as well that would probably prevent me from committing to a full season ticket but I'm very much interested in the half season ticket option, I suppose what I'm asking is the possibility of the deadline being extended if only by a few days.

Isn't the idea of a half season that they are for sale until at least Christmas so that people who are perhaps new to the club or those who can't afford it now or just realise they are going to see most matches after all, or want a Christmas present, can get one at any point and enjoy their 10 games.

It's a shame to close off a revenue outlet so early.

UPDATE ......

Considering there was a lot of "noise" around how many half season tickets were going to be sold, I have only had three supporters enquire about it.

We have decided to extend the availability of the half season ticket for the remainder of the year however the price of £80 will increase to £100 from 16th July onwards. Any enquiries prior to this date will be registered and a purchase price of £80 will be honoured.

Right move to honour the £80. Just over a weeks window was disappointing. Not sure the value of £100 is right, afterwards.
