Lots of rain overnight in Hasbury area about a mile from the Grove,my lawn is waterlogged which rarely
happens forecast is pretty good for tonight and tomorrow, but significantly no drying wind, possibly a
question mark over tomorrow nights game,YELTZ v CURZON ASHTON.

Christ the bike, I thought I was accused of being glass half empty..........

It's over 24 hours till the game........ our pitch drains better than most in the league (once it stops raining!!!) as has been seen the last three or four years in March when it's a dustbowl through lack of rain! So I'd imagine we'll have no problem with tomorrow nights game.

But don't let that get in the way of being pessimistic ;D

Not being pessimistic about the game being on - just wondering, and worrying, what state it will be in.
Having seen the great video footage from our home games, it is a case of spot the grass!
The pitch is a bone of contention and will be until it is improved next season - hopefully.

The groundsman has been quoted as saying 'the match will definitely be on!'

Tbf our pitch is far better than Bradford's or Blackpool's!

I can't see it improving any time soon...

I'll take the pessimistic comment back.

If there's 654 at The Grove tonight, I'll walk to Curzon Ashton next Tuesday!!!
