I put this same question out last season with 15 games to go , a great response from all the fans ,all believing , and we went on to win 10 out of. 10
There are 45 points up for grabs still in this league
I think we can ,

Can what? Win 10 out of 10? Or 15 out of 15? No chance. Were playing well but not THAT well.

Can we do what?
With the top end of the table looking as it is with teams having played different amounts of games anything can happen. We have to play FC United twice, and Curzon twice and have Ashton and Grantham to visit the Grove. If, in those games we can win the homes and draw the aways we'll stand a good chance.
We also two more long trips to Blyth and Whitby as well which won't be easy.
It will be a damn site easy with 600+ Yeltzmen and women screaming them to victory at The Grove and 100 of us stood together at away games doing the same!

This team will make the play offs. They do not give in. Got a big run of games and have made a good start to this run of fixtures with a solid point away at Workington. A win Tuesday will be a fantastic result and put us in a great position.

The team have performed brilliantly this season, but I honestly (and after a applying a good dose of optimism) can't see us making the playoffs. I'm personally hoping that: 1. The length and pressure of a long season doesn't hit us before the end; and, 2. That there's still something left on the table for the Stourbr*dge game and that it's not just a dead rubber.
Before I get hit with a glass half full of water, I'll explain why I'm still not holding out too much hope.....
In order to reach the playoffs we need top five, and unfortunately there appear to be exactly five sides who will take some catching. FC are going great guns- they have 3 games and 5 points in hand (and, before anyone says it, we won't beat them twice). WORKINGTON are 7 points ahead, also on great form, although we have one in hand. ILKESTON lost quite a few important players, but haven't eased up too much- they are now 8 ahead of us, and have a game in hand, whilst ASHTON are perhaps on the best form of everyone and just a point behind them on the same number of games. SKEM, who are drifting a bit and lost at home to Matlock yday are the most likely to drop out, but they're still 13 points ahead and top of the table, albeit we have five games to catch them.
So, to be blunt, we have to overturn one of these guys to get in there. And that will take a winning run in the style of last season. This is a different league and far far more challenging. And I haven't even mentioned Curzon, Buxton, or even Blyth, who are all at shorter odds than we are with the bookies!
No moan, moan, moan here. I love this team and won't give up on the dream either- but there's a big gap to close still! Starting Tuesday!

As ever, a well thought out viewpoint. One question though mate, did you think we'd win 10 on the trot last season?
We'lll not be far away and that in itself will be great achievement.

Why won't we beat FC twice? Stranger things will happen this season?
I know it's a tough ask, they're a very good side with excellent support.
Rest of the post is fair enough. I just have a gut feeling we will get the last play off spot. I will not write this side off.
The fact we're even having a debate about our play off chances is in itself a great achievement.

First things first. really tired after getting in last night (my other half Christianna laughing as l walked in, she just does not understand why l go on these days out and never will!!!.
What an immense performance from the whole team, a very long journey to Workington, every player gave there all, Matt S in goal great saves today. Having no Asa at the back, Forde off injured ,we really had to dig
deep to keep Workington at bay. Really deserved this, well done to all, welcome to Mr A Lloyd

.
But we did it, again, that neversay die, will not give up, battling to the final whistle, that is what HTFC are
about makes me so proud to follow the YELTZZZZS.
No doubt Workington will be in the play offs, good footballing side, they can play especially on that pitch
I am now believing we may POSSIBLY make the playoffs, tough and tougher home/away games to come.
What an incredible away group of FANTASTIC SUPPORTERS the Yeltzs family are, real great guys and girls, but we need more to join us come on give it a go!!!.
The voices, yet again absolutely brilliant, as always, almost made the" ten minute" Johnny Hill barmy, Em on the watch(believe she said close to seven and half apprx) it will be beaten on Tuesday against Curzon A.
So come ye Yeltzs men and women gather your selves for the next games to come home and away, believe, stay together as one and it can be so oh yes, it can be done.
The beautiful game of non league football.... so beautiful, so beautiful
Finally gathering myself to watch the Villa on the box against Leicester oh dear,oh dear.

We can certainly reach the play-offs, just like any team in the top 10 can.
All we need to do is carry on as we are now, chipping away at the position above us week after week.
We have beaten some top teams this season, we have also dropped points where 3 would have been a banker, just proving that anyone can beat anyone, and i certainly think that 4 points against both Curzon and FCUM is achievable.
The only thing that does worry me is the depth we have in the squad, with RTB and Kettle gone, and wonder if Asa, Macca, and Christie can constantly play Saturday / Tuesday from now til the end of the season.
Can we do it?? yes we can!!!!
