Halesowen v Buxton (Match Highlights)

Post by DanielRolinson » 08 Feb 2015, 12:26

Morning everyone.

A brilliant performance from yesterday afternoon can now be relived online! Our latest match highlights video has just gone live. It is a slightly longer video but includes scenes from the impeccably observed minutes silence and an interview with head coach Kev Barry - definitely worth watching the whole thing!

Enjoy the video - as always we love to hear all your great feedback!

Great highlights again guys, always good for 'part timers' like me who don't go to the games very often. The highlights just like the team have gradually improved throughout the season.

I particularly liked the fact you showed the results from other games from the NPL as well, even though a lot were postponed yesterday! Maybe you could add the league table into the highlights as well going forward?

I also enjoyed watching the interview with Kev Barry as well, very calmly spoken and answered the questions well. I do like the fact the post match interview was added onto the end of the highlights rather than as a separate video, just makes it easier for the viewer as well more than anything.

Who was the person doing the voice over at the start and end of the highlights? He sounded very professional as well.

Overall, good work lads keep it up! And Up the Yeltz!

Appreciate the kind words!

We added the graphic in of the scores because just reading them out it gets a bit lost without visualising them aswell.

It was the first interview I've actually carried out, but I thought Kev was brilliant in his answers, very developed - it's awkward when someone is short with their answers, makes our job harder!

The person you mention doing the talking was actually Matt's Dad! Matt usually does it live for us when he does his commentary, or does it at home if he can't attend. However he felt ill, so his Dad offered his services and we agree that he did a grand job - I'll pass on your thoughts!

I know Dazzling Daz has talked about how he'd love a go at doing a commentary. Maybe he could have a go when you don't have anyone available? Sorry Daz ;-)

I'd have a go. Never done it before, but something I would like to try, there's a 1 day commentary course in May I was going to have a go at. I would rather have a go at it and be crap than us not having anyone if that makes sense !
