This weekend versus Skelmersdale United, the Friends of the Grove will be collecting for a local foodbank ahead of Christmas 2014. Most foodbanks offer immediate and short term support to vulnerable individuals and families and we encourage all Yeltz fans to take part. There will be an area in the James Grove Lounge where you can drop off your items should you which to do so, we will organise the rest.

I've just spoken to them and they're bringing volunteers to take away what we collect. They're also going to add something on their website. Come on Yeltz fans, let's show our caring side.

This charity is close to my heart. No-one in this country should be hungry. I'll be bringing some tins along.
