Surprised at this breaking news this morning. Will be a blow if it goes through.

Saying that I wonder how much of his departure will be down to the arrival of this new chap.

Can only wish Lait all the best and thank him for his hard work during his time here.

Disappointed to see Laity go, but with the wing back system we play there isn't really a position for him. I know they wanted him after he tore them apart at their place maybe he's decided he needs a change. Good luck to him, always gave his all for the Yeltz.

Gutted to see Laity go. A creative threat and a great player to get a back lines. Who's the new chap?

Ditto shame to see him go, understand he is not getting in the starting 10.

Good luck and thank you.

Earlier in the season before we employed the wing back system, fo me Laity was the outstanding player on the pitch most weeks, in fact I would have thought his name was on the team sheet first.

Since the wing backs however there isn't really anywhere for him to play, I will be sad to see him go and if he does will understand why. On the other hand you have to give credit to John Hill for going with a system that works and not playing the "outstanding player by form" just because he is the outstanding player. It's what players best fit the system that count. A lesson that messrs Sven Goran Errikson and Fabio Capello could have done during their reigns as England bosses.

All the best Chris if you do leave, you will do an excellent job in a 4 4 2 as Right Midfielder/Winger.

I ought to bite my lip because I know I could be said as being disrespectful but sod it. I remember the french and germans and italians all agreeing that "you engliesh are tres barmie, If HODDLE was french , he would be the first name on the teamsheet and we would build our team around him. I think the same about Laity. Yet another skillful midfielder sacrificed for workrate. And who is to replace him ? Aaron who ? and who does he play for ? Is it a side several divisions below our standard, so how good is he ? I hold my disrespectful breath.
