Grantham Town

Next Saturday we make our first visit to Grantham Town for 9 years. Our very first trip was in the FA Cup in 1984 when their ground was in London Road near the town centre, regular league encounters followed after our promotion to the Southern League. In the late 80s Grantham appointed Martin O'Neill as Manager with John Robertson as his Assistant. This page from the programme for the match on 14th January 1989 shows that Ex-Birmingham City Kenny Burns was playing for Grantham at that time.
