Curtis Woodhouse has confirmed on twitter that The Mighty Goole are going full time from next season.
Sounds like a disaster in the making to me. Does anyone have any other thoughts on how this could possibly work?

Maybe they're looking at going down the same route as Ilkeston and making an academy where it is an education based route? I know their own has very deep pockets but people with money don't get to where they are by throwing it away. Goole are a small club with a poor fan base and a stadium that looks very tired. If they are looking at a full time playing staff of 15/16 players, coaching staff, admin staff and the such like I can't begin to think how much money that will cost to set up and sustain on top of improving their ground.
I like what Ilkeston are trying to do, but their fanbase where funny. They loved the idea of playing football but the amount of comments I heard along the lines of 'get rid of it', don't play with it there' etc was quite odd.
I can sadly, only see it ending in tears at Goole, shame really as they seemed like good people and Curtis Woodhouse (can't believe I'm saying that about a Bluenose) was a likeable chap in the dug out and the banter shared with the fans.

Is their a greyhound track in Goole or a speedway team. Dig up the running track and both could ground share.
