Is there such a thing this year? I can't find anything on the FA site. Shame for Iyesden if there isn't.

That seems very strange I can't think of any reason why they would unless it's to do with administrative costs or something like that but even then very strange!

It means the FA do not have to provide a seat and hospitality to non league players, lower league players or a couple of higher league pre-madonna's.
Instead they can get a few more quid in from a few paying corporate prices for the day.

A shame, as I expect he would have been nailed on for a jolly at Wembley. But, they've made a nice but of fuss with the cup coming to The Grove and I expect there will be some articles from the FA using last night's pictures.
He'll have to get 6 more against Guiseley to see if he can get them to reinstate it...

Probably nothing at all to do with the 20000 votes for Matt Lewis that were received from Singapore in a single day. I deny any involvement with this of course.
To John's point. The crazy financial model that was the new Wembley means that they are heavily reliant on debenture sales. If fact, they come for renewal in the next couple of years and if the take-up is not sufficient, the FA will be in deep financial doo-doo. Due to the failings of the England team they are expecting a low take-up and may be forced to make significant discounts or offer short term (2-3 year) offerings simply to get in sufficient revenue. This could get very messy.

I don't care if they do or don't. Christie got man of the round for his 4/5 performance!
