Thanks Miky8, i don't think anyone was criticising him as a player, I think it was more surprise that we signed a defender when our goals per game ratio was so low. I think folk were more surprised that we weren't bringing in a striker or creative midfielder.

Seemed a solid enough player last night and seemed to slot in without too many problems, certainly looks a team player.
