For those travelling to Barwell the football pitch is part of various sporting clubs in the village. As part of the complex there clubhouse is actually a pub on the site.

Sounds good to me!!
That reminds me, does anyone know how much the coach is on Monday or I may be asking someone if they have room in their car for a lift for me and my mate. Willing to pay towards petrol - any takers let me know?!

Re: Barwell Away Bank Holiday Monday
Right, local knowledge alert for Barwell, seeing as I grew up there.
John is spot on about the bar at the ground. A few others worth bearing in mind are the Queens Head, olde world Marstons place down the main drag, on the left if you come in from the A447, its a good 15-20 min walk from the ground. Also, the Nags Head in nearby Stapleton (1 mile out) which does good food. The Blacksmiths Arms is also in Barwell village centre and is another option.
Parking shouldn't be a problem either, plenty nearby, even on Kirkby Rd itself.
