The goalmouths

Post by wednesburystokie » 12 Aug 2014, 20:48

Just tidying up some stuff on my computer and came across the raw of this, i know a lot was made of Trevor's dash onto the pitch, but maybe the members of the recent working parties will appreciate how good the goalmouths look now in comparison

Brilliant looking back, albeit only a few months ago. Makes my hairs stand on end.

But to the point, agree. The goal mouths look fantastic in comparison. I hope they're looked after over the course of the season.

I also hope come the last kick of this season, the pitch is maintianed and nurtured fully.

You can really see the difference, great work from everyone who attended the working parties!

Also, I don't think that video does justice to how loud the cheering was for that goal!

Would love to get every game on video, we'll have to see if that's viable in the future

I would love to get into something like manning a camera at the Grove. Happy to volunteer my services for home games.

I was discussing with Guesty and Dave about trying to get a 'Yeltz TV', youtube type channel. It would be great for a budding media studies student to video the games. Not only for publicity purposes on the club website, but also for the coaching staff to use for tactical analysis etc. A big commitment admittedly, but we have to start somewhere. We've all seen how great Dave Hawley's photography is, it would compliment his work brilliantly!

Just been speaking to Beasty about this. He's doing media at Windsor Sixth Form (along with English language, literature and sociology).

I was wondering who I'd have to contact about setting up a Yeltz TV Youtube channel and about filming the games/interviewing the players and management after a game?

I would welcome anyone at The Grove to video.

Will speak to Rob and Guesty about the best way forward.

Guesty is your best man for this really. I'm still struggling with light switches nevermind this new fangled technology.
