Thank you and farewell

Post by the phys » 16 Jul 2014, 22:23

I've been asked to post the following message on behalf of Brendan Kelly:

For many reasons, mainly personal, my time at Halesowen Town FC has come to an end.
I would like to thank the very, very loyal Yeltz fans for all their support that they have given me since I signed for the club 3 years ago.
I consider it an honor to have played over 100 games for a club with such a great history and a club that is held in a very high regard across the non league scene and above. I'd like to think I represented the club in the correct manner on and off the pitch (apart from the odd red card lol).
I will truly miss the family feel of the football club, I promise to stay in touch and wish the club all the best for the future and, who knows, maybe I can return in another fashion / role one day.
Thank you so much, God bless,
Brendan Kelly

All the best Bren, never forget you leading the players to the fans to shake hands at the final whistle during a hard-earned victory at Leek couple of seasons ago.

Very classy Brendan and best of luck to you in the future. A nice way to bow out winning the title last year! Hopefully see you back at The Grove in the future.

Thank you Brendon for your hard work on the pitch.

Good luck in whatever is next for you. At least when you come now you can have a guiness or two.
