I can confirm after talking to John Hill today he has turned down an official approach from another club.
John said in his short time at the Grove he has took the club to his heart and feels him and his staff have a loyalty to show the club and the supporters after a fantastic backing all season long.

Outstanding news. I honestly think that with a man like him at the helm his club could really progress well. He's no fool and I'm sure he can see the potential this club has too. I think should he have moved on, we would also be possibly losing a fair number of the squad too who possibly would follow him.
To mention us lot too in his comment shows once again how he appreciates our support. Let's return to the favour by getting as many season tickets sold as possible when they come on sale as this will no doubt help him in strengthening the squad too.
Thank John!

Fantastic news! He's taken the club to heart, and the fans have taken him to heart too! I'm very glad he's committed himself to us.
