Here are all the scenarios next season thanks to help from a member (blackdouglas) off the Tony Kempster website.

Here are six scenarios which could happen next year. I hope it's self explanatory but to clarify, each mileage is a single one way journey unsing MS Autoroute 2007 on fastest routes but also looks to see if this is still a realistic option and if need be adding "Avoid Areas" & "waypoints" to get the route that the average person would take.

If Halesowen are placed in the NPL Stourbr*dge may not be moved to join you us is scenario "No Stourbr*dge" and looking at the maps there are really only 3 sides "Stour" could realistically replace, Barwell, Stamford & Kings Lynn. If we are unlucky enough to be placed in the Southern League the only viable club to transfer out to the NPL is Corby hence the lack of extra scenarios there. The first SL list is what most would expect the committee to come with, with us in it, the second one is much neater with Cambridge & Histon moved out & replaced with the more appropriate Hayes & Harrow.

Until the FA release the line-ups we can't really tell who'll be where.

The only positive about going into the Southern section would be a trip to Truro. Would most definitely make a long weekend out of it. Other than that, surely we've got to stay where we are. I'd be disappointed if we moved if I'm honest.

Would the money the club make out of the Stourbr*dge fixture outweigh the money lost in travel?

Also, in terms of the southern option I'd imagine that at least 5 of those would involve staying on the Friday or the Monday for a Tuesday game (anything around 150 miles away?). If not it's a hell of an ask to ask players to sit on a coach for 2 1/2 - 3 hours maybe more then play to their full potential.

Think the list may be slightly out of date, I believe Hayes & Yeading will groundshare at Maidenhead next season instead of Woking (this season) which makes them definite for the Southern league. Plenty of debate yet to come in the next few weeks.

When we were last in the Southern the brothers grim used their hard earned US Dollars to fund the players stopping over night. Was it the Turo game? But it was only one.

When you say 2.5 to 3 hours you forget unlike John C's limo the coach drivers have to have set breaks and travel at slower speeds so take longer.

Interesting to see that there is not too much in the averages, although some mileages appear to be out.. E.g Belper is ot least 20 miles further, Matlock is about 10 miles nearer and looking south, Poole is about 20 miles nearer and Weymouth further than stated.

Hmm, I'm not liking that Southern League at all. Granted, a weekend out of Truro (think Johnny told me him & Scouse once drove straight there and back on a Saturday, and we lost!) but like Raiden says, that's the only positive I can see out of it. Like everyone else, much prefer the NL with the likes of FC Manchester, Stour and on a personal note, Skelmersdale & Marine are weekends for me as I can stop over my mate's house who lives in Prescot.

Think I read somewhere on here that although it's obvious to us, the committee usually make a decision which isn't common sense?
