Ladies and gentlemen. We bloody did it ! We got promotion ! Sorry but reality has finally set in, Saturday wasn't a blur (only some of it due to a few too many beers) we hugged each other at the final whistle, no before that our 1st goal I celebrated it with 5 different people, 2 of which I don't think I have ever spoken too !
What I am trying to say is from the bottom to the top of this club we have all played our part, some bigger than others, but we are all part of HTFC, whether we come once a season or have been chairman for 50 years ! Somewhere along the line we all chose to be associated with this great football club, we all chose different routes to be here, this season I personally have seen the same old faces and some new ones, I have made some good friends, had some great times, so why argue.
We have all been present to one of the best, if not the best seasons of football, seen some fantastic football by a team of never say die, don't know when we're beaten players, led by a brilliant management team, and coached by quality erm coaches !
We have been taken out of a mess of a situation 3 years ago and brought forward by people that clearly love the club like we do. We need to stick together because the potential in this football club in my opinion is frightening, it can go places.
Of course fans will disagree have different opinions that's natural, but for goodness sake lets not have different groups who don't get on with others, let's Unite be as one, we should all have one thing in common and that is we all want what's best for Halesowen Town, we have just had an amazing season, this is our religion lets not spoil it!
