Immensely Proud.

I just have to say that today and over the season in general, how immensely proud I am to be a YELTZMAN. Whatever was our fate going to be today, it has still been a fantastic season by such a dedicated bunch of players and backroom staff. I THANKYOU ALL>.
The days when we boycotted the matches and resulted to watching from ladders outside the ground, only to be mocked by the press and especially those Ingram brothers in their meet the fans forum, which angered me greatly , and also showed me from that day that they never really cared about the club, now are hopefully a thing of the long distant past. Thank you to everybody especially all other supporters who made today become reality . I am as I've said IMMENSELY PROUD. I feel a song coming on.

As we all are.
It cannot escape notice that at this time of success we have, as yet, no comment from The Sage of Hampshire.
The lover of Ploughman's Pickle and self-confessed brainbox hasn't managed to bring a note of cynical negativity to the euphoria surrounding The Grove.
Give it time!

WOW.... Just checking that this isn't a dream.
How proud? It is difficult to put into words - let alone being able to type it.
As a former claret and blue regular, I started to visit the Grove 3 seasons ago.
Watching the team and then talking to the regulars, I fell back in love with the game to the extent that I purchased a season ticket - for the first year in many years... making sure that I could make it to as many games as was possible - holday's and work commitments permitting.
- Dragging my Dad and mate (Mick) with me to as many games as I could!
And this season to as many away games as I could muster / get a pass for
- thanks to Sheila for the coach travel and the offer from Kev (Noggin) of a lift (and a
grateful acceptance from me) to a number of games.
And to the team - all of the management team and squad have been superb.
- Well done - and a well deserved trophy at the end of the season.
The team - from back to front have been excellent.
The back line looks much more secure, superbly marshalled by Joe, who I think deserves to be player of the player of the season (in my opinion) closely followed by Curtis.
The midfield - I have to pick out Macca, As he puts his foot on the ball, and can still pick that killer pass.
Also, for the time he spent talking to fans when he was out injured.
Up front - Iyesdon and Ben - Both incredible in their own ways. Iyesdon - starting off slowly but picking up and covering Ben when injured. Ben - not only for goals but also his attendance and support when injured. Truly brilliant.
Yesterday was surreal - taking me back to the terraces at the old Arsenal ground back in the 80s.
The anticipation - waiting, hoping. Closing my eyes on many occasions just to make sure I wasn't dreaming.
The support has been tremendous - and I have met some great people.
The result - 2 0... how strange, but the right way around this time!
The outcome.... I have to be honest and say this time is soooooo much better!
Unbelievable. And to witness the Zee Zee pile on after the 2nd goal may be ingrained in my memory for many, many years - maybe until our next promotion.
Cannot wait for next season - and the pre-season games
Thank you
PK

Well what a day that was!
I've just about sobered enough to deal with a keyboard.
Right from the off in Blackheath Wetherspoons which was taken over by Yeltzmen (and ladies), the few Wolves fans in there soon departed! (unfortunately Spoons had run out of salad so we all had to have the full English option.) the train journey was brilliant, the yellow taxi convoy, the hospitality and atmosphere at the George + Draggon was as good as it gets. The atmosphere in the ground was the best I have witnessed with Halesowen.
As for the achievement, I felt extremely proud at the final whistle, the way this club has turned around since the days of the 3 bandits is unbelievable and we are now back at the level we were at when the idiots arrived to turn the club into a circus.
Congratulations to EVERYONE, management, squad, sponsors and all those that played a part in driving the bandits away.
