Considering we kept our first clean sheet in our 5th game that's quite a good stat!
At the forum the other month, Colin's 'Goalscorers win games, defenders win titles' quote (Originally Bill Shankley of course) has stuck with me.

To me the whole team have done well in every area.
Any weaknesses in any area can result in losing or not gaining points.
Yes you need goal scorers, but you need a midfield to supply them unless hoof tactic, you need midfield to also supply the strikers and also contribute with the odd goal, they also assist the defence. A solid defence protects the keeper and occasionally they score from corners (Mr Hull) or act as wing backs to get the ball across.
A good keeper will hopefully stop majority of shots which have beaten the rest of the team.
In the words of youung Mr Grace ,not for youngsters like Raiden, look it up on Google.
"You've all done very well"

Good job the youngsters are good at google.
Are you being served was the program.
Captain Peacock was the floor manager.
Going up was the phrase for the lift.
They don't make em like they used to.

I've googled this 'Mr Grace' since I'm even younger than Raiden. All that has come up is some bloke from a tv show called Are You Being Served. Is this the bloke?

As an aside, surely it's only 18 clean sheets, Raiden?
If Leek can't have their points from the Eastwood match, surely we can't have our clean sheet?
As the man says - "Forgiveness to the injured does belong; but they ne'er pardon who have done wrong."

We kept a clean sheet, at the time when the game meant something. I'm counting it.

I hate how I'm getting to the age where young adults see me as 'older'.
