Even with his weeks out due to injury \ wedding Ben is currently fourth top goal scorer. Can he get the Golden boot this season?

First Division South
Name Total Team Breakdown
Jonathan Froggatt 28 Belper Town Goal (22) Penalty (6)
Gary Bradshaw 22 Scarborough Athletic Goal (15) Penalty (7)
Jordan Johnson 22 Leek Town Goal (20) Penalty (2)
Ben Haseley 20 Halesowen Town Goal (20)
Andrew Gascoigne 17 Sheffield FC Goal (14) Penalty (3)
Zephaniah Thomas 17 Mickleover Sports Goal (12) Penalty (5)
Karl Demidh 16 Mickleover Sports Goal (15) Penalty (1)
Yannick Makota 16 Market Drayton Town Goal (16)
Kris Nurse 15 Loughborough Dynamo Goal (14) Penalty (1)
Iyseden Christie 14 Halesowen Town Goal (10) Penalty (4)
Craig Marshall 13 Romulus Goal (12) Penalty (1)
Jordan Cole 13 Newcastle Town Goal (11) Penalty (2)
Marcus Brown 13 Romulus Goal (12) Penalty (1)
Arron Webster 12 Mickleover Sports Goal (7) Penalty (5)
Ashley Longstaff 12 Rainworth Miners Welfare Goal (12)

Interesting Leek have only one player in the list, Coalville none and we have Ben and Iyseden.
Mickleover who we face a week on Satuday have three.

It would be great for Ben if he could do it. Second place seems well within his grasp.

Hempenstall leaving Coalville is probably the reason there is no Coalville player on the list.

I think Ben getting above 25 league goals would be a great achievement considering the time he has missed.

I've been looking at this for some time, and if you take out penalties he is only 2 off top place......and if you then take out 10 weeks injury....well I don't care what the official award says at the end of the season there is only one winner in my eyes ;D ;D ;D

Take off the pens and taking into account his time off, what an achievement.

Coalville player was only on 13 when I last looked a few days before the above post.

I agree Ben is top class and say again not just his goals his all round hard work.

About time he had a couple of hatricks. No pressure.

Hasn't had a hat-trick for a while our Ben. I've been saying this for a while but once he gets a couple of goals the floodgates may open. However, only six games to open them. No pressure!

He has got 5 goals in the last 6, scoring in 4 games straight. Flood gates are opening chap!

He seeems to be on a proper run for this first time since the eye injury occured.

Apologies Raiden I forgot about that stat! So maybe the gates are opening! Odds just in, Haseley 5-1 to bang a hat-trick past Scarborough ;D
