I know there's 8 (possibly 10 - hope not) games left and I presume there's an official award.

With Ben Haseley missing a chunk of the season with that eye injury this is going to be tough to call.

Obviously Ben is with a shout. Then you've got Christie who not only stepped up when Ben was out but has contributed and played well al season.

Defensively Hull and Tilt have been superb, as has Green.

Then also arguably Tonksy and Macca in with a shout, also?

Be interesting to know what people's early thoughts are. Personally if the season ended right now, I'd be very tempted to give my vote to Joe Hull. He's been a brilliant leader, wins near enough every battle against his forward opponent and has scored a number of key goals throughout the year. I could easily of said any of the above mentioned!

Personally, my vote would be for Tonks. Yet it would be hard as nearly all the players deserve an award!

I assume there is a supporters award for Player of the Season? If so, how does it work? I'm not sure who would get my vote if I'm honest, so many have been impressive. Still all to play for to get my vote!

The Steve Spitfire Parkes Silver salver is awarded for Supporters Player of the season, Steve was a Yeltz fan who was taken from us at a young age, the award was specially commissioned by the Supporters Association, voting is generally organised by the Trust.

There is normally paper and pens in the club shop with a box for people to put their votes in :-)
