Fantastic.
Pig on the Wall, what a cracking ale that is. Can't beat a good Black Country ale.
Would be good to see the Grove Bar get it on draught

What exactly are the club doing for this? Is it just the ground being used as a venue or will the club be be organising stuff?
It would be great to see the club use this event to showcase the new bar and improvements made to the shed etc. Maybe hold a five a-side competition for local primary schools on the pitch. I'm sure the college would be hosting similar events, maybe some work in partnership could be explored here?
Sorry, if this has already been decided, just thinking aloud so to speak

It is down to the club to organise everything but any help will not be turned down!
Pitch will still be out of action really so will not be part of the events.
Plan is Friday night live band
Saturday outdoor events and live music all day
same on Sunday.
Marquee by side of the lounge with dance floor area and lots of real ales from local area.

Ok, how about a traditional Black Country market using the likes of Teddy Grays of Dudley, Bowketts Butchers, Bathams Brewery, Dudley Zoo demonstration, Dudley Canal Trust, local crafters etc..
Maybe other people on here could contribute ideas? I'm always happy to help out if I can?

The Bridge radio and Halesowen College I'm sure would contribute too.

What kind of band are you thinking of putting on? Also I would be more than willing to help out on any or even all the days of the festival

Black Country Bugle and Guests (butchers at Stourbr*dge Road end of the ground) might be interested.
I would suggest sounding out the James Grove Trust about using the grassed area adjacent to the ground for parking as traffic could be an issue (parking could also provide useful revenue)
Owl rescue centre always seems to be a crowd pleaser too

On the main days there will be folk bands but with a mix of modern/tribute thrown in.
The budget for bands is nil or very close to nil so hence the folk theme as a lot do it for
a few beers!
The market idea could be good just space is a premium so may need to use car park for that and
use other areas for parking.
